Holly Lahti, single mother from Idaho, is Mega Millions jackpot winner

Holly Lahti Wins Mega Millions Jackpot
Mega Millions Winning Numbers Funrose 300x225 Holly Lahti: Will Mega Millions Winner Fall Victim To Lottery Curse?Holly Lahti has been identified as one of the two winners of the Mega Millions jackpot, making her the envy of every person in America. Holly Lahti is a 30-year old single mother of two children from Idaho, and will split the jackpot with the other winner, putting about $190 million in her pocket.

Holly Lahti claimed her ticket today, and supposedly has quit her job as a bank teller. She is from somewhere in Northern Idaho, but has asked that her town not be identified.
She may have no cares in the world after winning the Mega Millions prize, but will Holly Lahti fall victim to the dreaded lottery curse? The lottery curse has ruined the lives of several other lottery winners, to the point where some of them wished they’d never bought a ticket.
The manager of the convenience store where Lahti bought the winning ticket says, “She’s very sweet. Very down to earth. Just a really nice person. Good head on her shoulders. I think she’ll do very well. She’s taken some time to get things lined up.”
Hopefully Holly Lahti can enjoy her new found fortune without the lottery curse getting the best of her!

Holly Lahti, a bank teller at Inland Northwest Bank and single mother of two from Rathdrum, ID, has come forward to claim her half of the enormous Mega Millions jackpot she won last week, reports ABC News. But she is trying very hard to avoid the spotlight (and who can blame her).

Sources tell KXLY out of Idaho that Lahti quit her job as a bank taller and her relatives say she is "very deserving" of the prize. Lahti has a husband, Josh Lahti, but they are estranged. The couple has two daughters, ages 10 and 12.

Brad Wilde, the manager of the store where Lahti bought the winning ticket says, "She's very sweet. Very down to earth. Just a really nice person. Good head on her shoulders. I think she'll do very well. She's taken some time to get things lined up."

If Lahti takes the lump sum, she'll get about $120 million before taxes and roughly $81 million after taxes, according to CBS News. If she chooses the annuity payment, she would get roughly $7 million a year for the next 26 years before taxes, $5 million a year after taxes.

Congratulations to Holly Lahti!
